- On January 27, 2020, he made his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy, at age 16.

- Created a movement for the Kanpur Superstars in the 2023 UP T20 League by scoring 455 runs in nine innings, including two centuries, and the fastest in the match in 47 deliveries.

The situation was such that I didn’t have much on my mind. I just focused on seeing and hitting the ball, especially since there were only 19 overs to play. I couldn’t overthink.
I knew if the ball was in my range, I would go for it. The first ball came right into my hitting zone, and I smashed it for a six. In such a scenario, as a batsman, you don’t feel the pressure of who the bowler is because you have to be aggressive in 19 overs.
As a young player in my first IPL match, I expected the first ball to be googly, and that was on my mind. I promised my family and friends that when I played in the IPL, I would hit a six on the first ball. The opportunity came in my first match, and I made sure to fulfill that promise
