Riyan Parag After Match Said:
I kept everything simple instead of trying to do too many things, When I didn’t get things right, I used to think about it too much, and I would try to put different things together. And then it happened. Do work. So the goal this year was to keep it simple: see the ball, hit the ball.
I play at the domestic level, these are exactly the kind of conditions I go to bat in. I am fine, this is what I do, this is what I have been doing for the last six months playing domestic cricket, so it was great, everything is easy to calculate.
So I haven’t performed at all for about three to four years, or even if it’s one match a season, and you go back to your hotel room and you think to yourself when you know you can do something. And this performance ain’t coming, You go back to the drawing board, I tried to figure out what was wrong. And I found out I wasn’t practicing enough at this level, so I went back after the season and I practiced a lot harder, and I think it’s showing now.
Riyan Parag’s stellar play for Rajasthan Royals this season “RR has 5 batsmen, 5 bowlers, and Riyan Parag” was once the most trolled player on social media. However, he is now wearing an orange cap.
