The T20 World Cup 2024 will be hosted by the USA and West Indies or will start between June 4 and June 30. In this T20 world, there will be 20 teams and a total of 8 venues. This is the 9th edition of the T20 World Cup or the first time it is being held in the USA. This is going to give a lot of boost to the cricket sport in the United States.

The 2024 T20 World Cup format
Group Stage (June 4-15, 2024)
There will be a total of 20 teams which will be divided into four groups, there will be 5 teams in each group. Each team will play a single round-robin against other teams in their group for the Super 8 stage. 2 teams from each group will advance to the Super 8 stage.
Super 8 Stage (June 16-21, 2024)
Now there is a Super Stage 8 team, now it will be divided into two groups, there will be four teams in each group, and they will again play single-round rubdown against other teams in their group, then two teams each from the two groups will go to the semi-finals.
Semi-Finals & Final (June 28-30, 2024)
4 teams will come in the semi-final then there will be a match between two teams, whichever team wins will go to the final and the final match is going to be held on 30 June 2024.
ICC t20 World Cup 2024 qualification
20 teams are going to come to the T20 World Cup 2024, and out of these, 8 teams have been automatically qualified for the 2022 T20 World Cup. the host country teams United States and West Indies have also been automatically qualified. so a total of 10 teams have been qualified. the remaining 10 teams will secure their place through a series of regional qualifiers.
